Gaythorne Bowls Club was one of twenty Brisbane Bowls Clubs to form the Brisbane District Bowls Association on the 27th of January 1988.
Since these times, Clubs have closed due to many reasons, and those that are still open had to create new streams of revenue. Gaythorne Bowls Club has prospered with many new regular weekly events.

Tuesday 1st November dawned Bright and early as the Gaythorne Bowls machine swung into action preparing the Hall. We had some 130 plus bookings for the day and our Hall was set up to match numbers
Barefoot bowls is a fun activity that can suit almost any occasion from birthday celebrations to business team building sessions. Gaythorne Bowls Club offers its guests ample off the street parking and is conveniently close to public transport.
Our New Caterer Summer Zhang will be Catering for Special Events and Functions as well as A Friday Evening Casual Dinner Night at Gaythorne Bowls Club.
