Music at Gaythorne
Brisbane Shadows Players are a group of musicians who meet on the 2nd Sunday each month at Gaythorne Bowls Club to play live instrumental guitar music of the very popular British band The Shadows and similar styles, as well as other popular 50s and 60s songs. For those who do not know The Shadows, they were a very highly successful instrumental British band from the 1960s.

Barefoot bowls is a fun activity that can suit almost any occasion from birthday celebrations to business team building sessions. Gaythorne Bowls Club offers its guests ample off the street parking and is conveniently close to public transport.
Line dancing at Gaythorne
Line dancing is a form of dance that takes place with a group of people. Participants line up in rows and execute the same movements in a synchronized manner. Gaythorne Bowls Club offers the opportunity for any budding dancers to join our local group of line dancers.
City 8 Ball Pool at Gaythorne
The Gaythorne Bowls Club with five pool tables is a major venue for City 8Ball Tuesday and Wednesday night fixtures. City 8Ball is an incorporated sporting association which organises weekly pool fixtures in and around Brisbane.
Stafford Probus Club
Stafford Probus Club meets at the Gaythorne Bowls Club on the 1st Thursday of Every month. They gather at the Club at about 9.00am for the meeting to start at 9.30 am. This branch of Probus is very popular with some 90 members attending each meeting.
